Join us for a vineyard field day where we take you through the process of making wine from ground to glass! An educational Vineyard and Winery Tour highlighting our vineyard and winemaking practices following the Salmon Safe Sustainable farming program.
Participants will walk the vineyard with owner Don Phelps gaining an understanding of pruning, tying and shade canopy and irrigation program to name a few. We will also talk about what makes the Lake Chelan terroir so special as we discuss ice age glaciers, volcanic eruptions, the 'lake effect' and how these elements affect the wine in your glass.
The vineyard tour will be followed by an overview of our winemaking process with winemaker Julian Shaver with an elevated tasting of 4 wines with charcuterie.
